The accommodation facility is classified according to the Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic 277/2008 as private accommodation ***.

Article 1
Conditions and method of accommodation
  1. Divná Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms can only accommodate guests who are properly registered for the accommodation. For this purpose, he/she shall present his/her ID card, passport or other valid identity document for inspection by the reception staff immediately upon arrival in accordance with Act No. 135/82 Coll. on the reporting and registration of the residence of citizens, as amended, and Act No. 428/2008 Coll. on the protection of personal data, as amended.
  2. Every client who is not a citizen of the Slovak Republic (foreigner) is obliged under Act No. 48/2008 Coll. on the residence of foreigners, as amended, to fill in and hand in to the reception an official form on the reporting of residence, whereby all the information is obliged to be given truthfully and completely.
  3. Divna Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms reserves the right in exceptional circumstances to offer the client a different accommodation to that originally agreed, as long as it is not materially different to the confirmed booking. The receptionist will hand over the keys and chip to the main entrance door to the guest immediately after checking identification and registering in the booking system. The guest keeps the keys and the chip until the end of the stay. Loss of keys and chip is charged at a separate rate.
  4. Based on the client’s order, a confirmation of the accommodation order is then sent to the client together with the price according to the current price list. The client has the option to guarantee his order by paying a deposit of 100% of the price of the hotel services and the financially expected performance. The client is obliged to cancel the accommodation reservation as soon as he/she finds out that he/she will not use the accommodation. In the case of a guaranteed reservation, the Guest will be charged a cancellation fee for non-cancelled accommodation reservation in accordance with Article I. point 10 of the Accommodation Regulations.
  5. If the client requests an extension, the accommodation facility may also offer another room in a different price range than the one in which he/she was originally accommodated.
  6. The client shall check out no later than 11:00 a.m. The room will be vacated by this time, unless individually agreed otherwise in advance. If the guest does not vacate the room by 11:00 a.m., the accommodation facility may charge him/her for the entire next day, unless otherwise agreed in advance. The room is considered vacant once the guest has removed all belongings from the room, handed over the keys at the reception desk and notified the staff member in charge of checking out of the accommodation.
  7. A client who checks in before 06:00 or insists on checking in before 11:00 will also pay the full price for the previous night, unless otherwise agreed individually in advance.
  8. From 22:00 to 06:00, guests are obliged to observe the night quiet.
  9. Divná Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms provides its clients with services as mutually agreed upon. The Client shall pay for the accommodation and services provided in accordance with the applicable price list. The hotel reserves the right to require from the client at the time of booking an advance payment of 100% of the price of the accommodation in the form of a transfer of the advance payment to the hotel’s account or in the form of a guarantee by credit card. The reservation becomes binding for the hotel only upon receipt of the advance payment.
  10. Divná Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms is entitled to charge the following cancellation fees in the event that a client cancels their booking in writing, electronically within the following timescales:

up to 45 days before the arrival date 15 % of the accommodation price

up to 7 days before the day of arrival 50 % of the accommodation price

up to 3 days before the day of arrival 100 % of the accommodation price

  1. The guest agrees that during the entire duration of the rental period, the housekeeper, maintenance or any other authorized employee of the hotel has the right to enter his/her room for the purpose of carrying out his/her duties. If the Guest wishes to prevent this, he/she shall display a “DO NOT DISTURB” card on the outside of his/her door. This does not apply if entry is necessary in the event that the urgency of the situation requires it /e.g. threat of an accident, violation of the conditions of accommodation, especially if other guests are disturbed, etc./.
Article 2.
Responsibility of the accommodation establishment and the guest
  1. Divna Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms is not responsible for items brought into the premises by guests, nor for damage caused to stored items.
  2. The client is liable for damages caused to the property of the accommodation facility according to the applicable regulations. The client, as the responsible representative, is liable for damages caused by minors for whom he/she is responsible, as well as for damages caused by persons who are on the premises of the accommodation facility and whose stay there was made possible by the client.
  3. The client is obliged to act in such a way as to avoid damage to health, property, nature and the environment. As a precautionary measure, the client will keep the front door locked while in the facility. Before opening the door to strangers, he/she shall check the reason for their request to enter the accommodation area and in case of doubt as to the validity of such a request, he/she shall immediately contact the reception. Before leaving the accommodation, the guest shall properly check that the windows and doors are closed.
  4. Divná Pani Lady Luxury Gallery Rooms is not responsible for forgotten and lost items on the hotel premises.
  5. The hotel is not liable for any damages caused to the guest outside the hotel.

From a security point of view, the guest is obliged to respect the door sign for hotel staff only.

  1. For security reasons, the guest is not allowed to carry a weapon and ammunition in the Divná Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms, or otherwise keep the weapon and ammunition in a condition allowing their immediate use.
  2. The use, manufacture or possession of narcotic or psychotropic substances or poisons is strictly forbidden in the Divná Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms, unless they are medications prescribed by a doctor for the guest’s use.
  3. Divna Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms is responsible for items brought by guests into the areas reserved for accommodation or storage of belongings or handed over to the hotel or the responsible hotel staff member for this purpose for safekeeping. In the room, jewellery, money and other valuables shall be stored in a safe built into the room.
  4. Liability for items brought in shall be governed by the provisions of Section 758 of the Civil Code.
  5. Found items are sent to the guest’s address only upon request. Found objects shall be stored at the hotel for a maximum of six months.
Article 3.
General provisions applicable
  1. The Divná Pani café, located on the ground floor, just off the reception desk, is reserved for the reception of guests. In the room where the client is staying, he/she is only allowed to receive visitors with the permission of the responsible employee or the hotel management between 08:00 and 22:00. The hotel employee is not authorized to give any information about the accommodated clients to third parties (except for police officers after they have legitimized themselves and proved their justification to ask for this information) or to allow a third party to visit the guest without his/her consent. Failure to report the visit is a serious breach of the regulations of Strange Lady Luxury Gallery Rooms, Strange Lady Luxury Gallery Rooms considers the persons to be clients and will charge them or the client according to the price list.
  2. In the rooms and common areas of the Divna Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms, the client may not, without the consent of the responsible employee or the management of the Divna Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms, move the interior furnishings, make any changes and modifications to the hotel equipment, make any interventions in the electrical network or other installations.
  3. Clients are not allowed to use their own electric, gas-powered portable appliances in the accommodation. The room is equipped with standard appliances for use (shaver, hairdryer and chargers for common consumer electric appliances and kettle).
  4. In case of fire, the client is obliged to follow the instructions of the responsible staff (according to the fire-evacuation plan) and after the arrival of the fire protection unit, the instructions of the commander of the intervention.
  5. For safety reasons, it is not allowed to leave children under 12 years old without adult supervision, neither in the hotel room nor in other areas of the hotel. In the event of damage, the person with whom the child is registered for the stay is responsible for the child and is liable according to the law.
  6. Clients are not allowed to remove items from the room and any discovered theft of room inventory will be charged to the client’s room account or subsequently reimbursed. In the rooms there are, paintings, artwork, sculptures, furniture and accessories of a gallery nature. All inventory is recorded and has a set price. The client is obliged to report any shortcomings, discrepancies or reservations to the hotel reception immediately upon moving into the room and upon discovering them. He is obliged to do the same if he finds any damage to the room or its inventory. In the event that the Hotel discovers damage to the room or its inventory after the end of the Client’s stay, without the Client having brought these facts to the attention of the Hotel’s reception, the Client is obliged to compensate the Hotel in full for the damage to the room or its inventory.

The guest is liable for damages caused to the property of the hotel according to the valid legislation of the Slovak Republic.

The amount of the fine in case of damage to property or violation of safety rules will be decided by the hotel management, taking into account the amount of the damage.

  1. There is a strict no-smoking policy in the rooms and common areas. In case of violation, the guest will be charged a one-time fee of 285€.
  2. There is a strict ban on the use of candles, aroma lamps in the rooms and common areas. In case of soiling of the room with wax on the floor equipment, carpets, linen or towels, the client is obliged to compensate the hotel for damage to the room or its inventory in full.
  3. In case of illness or injury of the client, the accommodation facility will report the request for medical assistance or transport to the hospital to the relevant medical facility.
  4. Dogs and other animals are not allowed in Divná Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms.

In case of violation of this obligation, the guest will be charged a one-time fee of 200€.

  1. Before leaving the room, the guest is obliged to properly turn off the taps, turn off the lights in the room and adjacent areas, turn off electrical appliances, properly lock the entrance door to the room and hand over the keys to the room at the reception.
  2. The client is obliged to report any defects immediately to the hotel reception.
  3. Private parking is free and unguarded. The hotel is not responsible for theft or damage to motor vehicles.
  4. Clients’ complaints, or any comments and suggestions for improvement of the accommodation facility are received by the hotel management and complaints can be recorded in the Wish and Complaints Book at the reception, where the Complaints Procedure is also located.
  5. The client and the accommodation facility are obliged to comply with the provisions of these Accommodation Regulations, which are binding on both parties in their entirety. In the event that the guest violates any of the provisions of the Accommodation Regulations, the management of the accommodation facility has the right to withdraw from the contract for the provision of temporary accommodation services before the expiry of the agreed time and without the client’s right to a refund.

As a data controller, Strange Lady Luxury Gallery Rooms collects and processes personal data for the purposes of guest bookings and management, invoices and payments, marketing activities and satisfaction enquiries. The data is intended for Divná Pani Luxury Gallery Rooms and service providers.
